The Site
Frothing Demand is derived from a horrible quote featured on the NTSC-U release of Treasure’s famed shooter Ikaruga. The site was originally intended to cover a variety of entertainment media in a pretty smarmy way, but the author is lazy, so the coverage hasn’t expanded beyond games for some time. There was also supposed to be a rabid dog mascot, but you can also chalk that up to the author’s laziness too.
The Author
From an early age, Matt Keller has pretended to be an authority on video games. During his university days, he started working voluntarily for a number of now defunct video game websites, eventually leading to a role as the launch editor of PALGN in 2003, now a major gaming community and website in Australia. After several years of working as an accountant and writing for PALGN on the side, Matt decided to take on freelance writing full time. He now works closely with Internode’s Games On Net website, leading the review coverage.
Matt’s work has appeared on sites such as Games On Net, Hyperactive, PALGN, Strategy Informer, GameFAQs, Xboxic and PlayStatic.
Matt holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Queensland and is an associate member of CPA Australia.
